New 4th Gen Owner

Hi Folks :keyboard:
I've been on the forum for a while, mostly on the 3rd gen side. While I love the timeless style of the 3rd gen, the space of the 4th was attractive. I've had this truck for almost two months, with the first month being sitting in the garage. Since then, I had the Daystar 2.5/1.5 put in (with the intent of keeping X-REAS while it lasts) and a new battery. The Daystar was a pain to get in as the lower control arm bolts were seized. $1000 later the truck was ready to go. Tomorrow it goes in for a remote start system, then I think she's good for the winter. I love how resourceful all the members are and how much help it's been. Today it got a good wash and claybar, now it's got brand new paint :high5:

morphious - Thanks! I love the look of them too! Thankfully silver isn't too difficult to come by ;)

Is your bug guard OEM? Mines mounted a lot further down the front grille. Toyota should be etched on the right side if it is.

Waitaminnittt...

A Sport Edition with no rear spoiler? Intriguing...

Nice ride. Silver was my first choice when I was buying. Toyota colors are all solid though.

The truck looks great! Nice to see a few other fellow Albertans on here. I haven't been around here much for a long time so maybe it's more common than I remember but good to see now.

The lift gives me inspiration for my also silver Sport.

Maybe it's a Canadian thing but there's tonnes of Sports spoiler-less around here including mine.. :(

Beautiful clean ride.
Thanks!
Makes that Chevrolet product behind it look a bit sickly. Lol
Pretty truck.
Yeah, that's my Grandpa's. he hates it, and loves the 4runners but he can't flat tow a 4th so his options are somewhat limited.

It has no Toyota markings, but it fits the truck perfect so I'm satisfied.

Thanks! I didn't know that's sports were mainly supposed to have spoilers, ill look into that.

Looks good. Where did you get your DayStar and where was it installed? I'm from Edmonton, too!
Ill P.M you!

Ah good to hear. Yeah, it seems us Albertans are quite rare on here. The lift is totally worth it and would look wicked on your truck!

Brazenhead Thanks! This is Jeff, the son. We sold the SC third a while back as it was more headache than what it was worth, but it sure was fun.
