Hi all, I just picked up a 2013 SR5 in Magnetic Grey. I landed it for 32k brand new with minor options like roof rack bars, floor/trunk liners, mud guards, and a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty. This is my first SUV/Truck as i've been a sports car guy all my life. Traded in an Infiniti G35 coupe for this, and i'm very, very happy with the change!
One thing I noticed is some posts say "2010, 2011, 2012 4runners". I was under the impression that the only difference between my 13 and a 12 was the 4wd switch being a knob instead of a lever? Can anyone let me know exactly what else is different?
Same applies to the "Toyota issues "fix" for axle wrap / driveshaft clunky-thumpy" thread...it seems it applies to 10/11/12, should I consider myself to be in that group as well or were there corrections to my model year? Sorry for the obvious questions =X
Lastly, i'm a software engineer that has also worked on engine management systems for honda ECU's in the past and have a 3D Printer so I hope I can contribute a bit of nerdery into the forum =)
EDIT: Yikes, I think I should have posted this in new members? Mods, please move if necessary.
