Just purchased the 97 4Runner in very good condition with a few small issues. For one the antenna is loose and I can pull the insides up and down, I can't tell if it is auto or standard in order to get a replacement. I just fixed the gas lid spring successfully. Everyone keeps asking me about the whole timing chain deal but the guy that had it maintained it great and the belts, etc all look solid and he has had it serviced every six months. It does seem to be leaking a bit of oil. The only other issue is the back glass doesn't roll down all the way due to a small dent that was popped out perhaps. It is a beautiful red with 230k miles...but drives like it is dang near new. Thanks for any help and I'm glad to find this forum...Mike
