New 99 LTD owner

Just got a 99 LTD A/T 4X4 stock with 155k miles. Have always wanted a 4runner and decided to pick up a 3rd gen for going to the snow and trails. Everything looks to be clean and in good shape with very little underbody rust.

PO did the minimal maintenance such as fluid changes etc and whatever was required to keep the rig running. Did not have maintenance records other than what I found on the Toyota owners service history so I've been going through everything I can find on the forums and making notes on what I need to do.

Timing belt was last done at 60K mi and is currently overdue. Although I do most of the maintenance on my vehicles, I lack the tools/space/time to do bigger jobs like the timing belt (esp in this weather) so 2nd priority will be taking it to a shop to get it done. I've also ordered a transmission cooler and will be installing it right away to avoid the pink(green) milkshake.

Also noticed that the coolant is not pink so will be flushing the cooling system and using Toyota coolant.

The valve cover gaskets were replaced by the dealer at 110K mi. Did not notice any fresh fluid leaks anywhere around the engine or the transmission.

My goal is to get all fluids replaced and everything lubed up before I start on the extras. Half the climate control panel bulbs are burnt out so its on the to do list once I get the mechanical stuff addressed.

This being my first 4runner, I'm looking forward to learning from all the knowledge and experts on the forum to maintain my rig.
