New addition to the family

Brought her home last night. 189" and 4300 lbs. Very proud new papa.

It's a 2006 SR5 Sport V6 4WD in Shadow Mica. Don't tell the wife, but I ordered the Homelink panel and Valor exhaust tip from partznet. I'm kind of a stickler for a nice sounding stereo, so I also just won an ebay auction for the '06 Scion HU for $86. Sounds like a nice upgrade.

Anyway, after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, the deal is finally done. Feel like I got a good deal on the truck and my trade-in. Glad to be part of the club, and especially a member of this forum. TONS of good stuff here!

Now, do you have the willpower to keep it looking clean? We bought our first black car (M-B E320 CDI) about 18 months ago, and I have to confess to being really tired of having a dirty car after driving it around the block!

All our subsequent cars will be in a light color, even though dark colors rule for pure looks when they're clean.

I think that technically Toyota calls the SE a SR5 Sport.

Maybe I am being a newbie...But the SR5 and the Sport Editions are two different trim levels. Sorry if I am nit-picking. Congrats on the new truck and that color is amazing on the 4R's

Looks just like mine, except I've got the 8 and no spoiler. I look forward to every little errand right now because I am enjoying the new truck and its great ride. I can't wait for a roadtrip and some nice light trails.
