Is there a link for features/specs?
here's a shot... not much available as far as specs because only 2000 of these units were produced. imo, it sounds better than the Pioneer scion unit which it replaced in my runner. I had several aftermarket units in my Tundra and this is better than any of them. My friend has the Alpine Nav in his truck and this one works just as well. I just ordered an LCD screen for the dvd set up that I'm customizing for the back for my son. I'll keep you posted.

I don't have a part number to give to you guys and I don't know if the dealer sells the radio, but I don't think so. This radio was produced for 2000 individually numbered Scion Xb's called the Release Series. I got mine from a salvage car that had front-end damage and they were piecing it out for parts. I have never seen another one for sale... anywhere. It is plug and play just like my old Pioneer Scion radio, but I don't need a Toy-Aux for my ipod anymore (its built in) and it has RCA's on the back to hook up a screen for the dvd's. Its pretty cool... my son's two and he loves to watch Shrek, Nemo, and Irish Music in concert so it fits the bill perfectly. Way more convenient than the portable dvd I had before.
I ended up painting my Waag grille guard this summer. I bent the sh^& out of the lower bar when I pulled a tree of my house from a storm. I welded a new lower bar (much thicker/stronger) and it came out much more stucturally sound; but needed to be painted. Before I dropped the coin on color-matched Toyota paint, I decided to try the charcoal hammer paint. I turned out pretty good... not a perfect color match, but good enough for me, and better than the black powder coat imo. I don't have one up, but I'll get you a picture if you want it.

It seems odd that Alpine would design a whole new unit for a run of only 2000, but then I don't really know what it takes to be profitable in that business.
Maybe it will eventually show up elsewhere with greater availability.
