New, already lifted T4R for sale at dealership

I have been eye-balling this 4runner at my local dealership for a while now. Not looking to buy it, but curious when/if they would sell. It has been on the lot since at least October, and I have not seen it move. When I was first in the market for a 4runner I had not seen many, if any, dealerships selling already lifted 4runners with aftermarket wheels installed as well. Is this common?

Also, I really like the "blackout package" tail light covers. Does anyone on here have them or can you recommend a place to get them?

Edit: I am not even considering buying this. I bought my 4runner less than a year ago down in Arlington. I was more curious about other dealerships offering lifted packages like this one here.

I'd rather build my own SR5 or TRDOR for the price of that. With the amount they are charging you could have a icon stage 7 and some wheels/tires. Or go with a milder OME with bumper front and back with a roof rack. They probably threw on a cheap spacer lift. Anyone dumb enough to buy that is doing so for the look only i guess.

More common than you think. Several dealerships in my area are selling lifted SR5's.

Typically outfitted with a 3" Toytech or ICON lift, UCA's, TRD Pro wheels and 285/80/17 BFG KO's...maybe a TRD Pro front fascia. And window tint at an ungodly mark up.

The main Pro I see to getting it a the dealership is that you can finance it all into the same monthly payment. But I would see if you could have you own built with the setup you perfer...

I agree the financing may be easier lumped in to one payment. Other than that, I still think buying your own and building it up yourself would be cheaper. It just isn't too common around here to see one already lifted.

the financing answer doesn't even make sense, your bank isn't taking a spacer lift and shit rims into account when they decide how much they will finance for a vehicle. it usually doesn't make sense financially, but if you want to you can finance a vehicle for more than you pay with the limit depending on what they will finance and what the vehicle is worth (for example some lenders will finance 110% of value)

RSG works with dealers so you can build it how you want (or at least with the vendors they carry) and include it in your payments.

Most finance companies will only do 110% of the MSRP. You also have to remember your going to pay sales tax in most states on the purchase price.

You can buy tint like window tint and do it or buy a can of lens tint spray like VHT or Rustoleum.

When I bought my off road from the dealer,we talked about a suspension lift and they said they install them. Thought they were talking about the Pro suspension but they said they installed "Fox" suspension lifts and that since they installed it the truck would still be covered under warranty.

The fact that they call is a "lift kit" with no other details tells me all I need to know. 99% sure it's a spacer lift.

Pretty common around here as well. The trucks usually have each mod priced out at full boat. These are a great display model for the mods the dealer can do for each buyer. Possibly somebody has seen this and ordered the lift, possibly somebody else ordered the blackout kit etc. In the end they will get tired of it and move it at a reduced cost. It will still be spendy.

I think it looks cool too, but I personally I don't want to black out something that stops others from rear ending me (I have two small kids).

I also think blacking out lights is illegal in a lot of states.
