New Battery

So I replaced my 2006 battrry with an Everstart Maxx 24F from Walmart. This is the battery online said to use. But now my auto window and sunroof won't open using the auto feature. Only works if button is held down. Is this the right battery orbit something else going on?

So I replaced my 2006 battrry with an Everstart Maxx 24F from Walmart. This is the battery online said to use. But now my auto window and sunroof won't open using the auto feature. Only works if button is held down. Is this the right battery orbit something else going on?

Anytime you disconnect your battery you'll need to basically "re-teach" these functions. All you have to do is open your window all the way by holding the switch. Once it's all the way open, then close it all the way by again holding the switch. This will effectively teach it where to stop for each cycle and the auto-open/close should work again. Same holds true for your rear window and your sunroof, if you've got one.

Not everyone here, especially some who bought second-hand T4Rs, have an owner's manual. But, yes, you are absolutely correct; it is in the manual.
