New black rims

I know this thread is old but i love the black rims these guys have on their runners. I think I m going to get this done to my 03 sport stock rims. Do yall think that would look good? I really want the BLACK on BLACK!!

I was just wonderin what size those are? I am about to buy some black lexani's and I am still looking at sizes and such. black lugs definately and I was wonderin if I took off the side step would it go back on if I didnt like it or would it need to be proffessionally redone.

They are 17's.

Let me know where you find the proper black lugs. I didn't want to paint the lugs because I knew they would get scratched......and I could not find black lugs.
 
cutris some of the shops i have looked at said something about a clear coat protectant type thing. Did you hear anything like this? If so did you get it

I have soem black lugs on my honda. The brand name is MUTEKI I have taken them off a couple times and the black did not scratch. They are very decently priced. and they are a semigloss to flat shine to them .

Have you tried eBay?...at least a couple of sets for sale there now. You have to search on Tundra or Sequoia since these are not OEM 4Runner wheels.
 
Thanks... By the way curtis, I looked at your pics and I can not tell you how much I love the way your runner looks. One more ?... how do those Nittos feel on the runner.

Thanks. Right now, I want to change the chrome grille for a black one.

The Nittos feel fine. I do not think they are noisier than the stock Dunlops. They do see to be tad stiffer though.
 
hey whats up im hooked up with a stock 2002 and i wanted to know if you could give me sum tips on how to tune it up and get some hot 20" black rims
 
american racing makes some good liking black 20's. thats what I got and they look awesome. I looked everywhere for good looking black rims that had the same suv lug pattern as my t4r and only came up with about 3 options...

Does anyone have and or photoshopped a pic of a 4th gen silver with the black powdercoated rims. I have a 2004 Sport and I think it would look really nice, but I want to see some pics for evidence:D

Turn the wheels around and put white letters in (black wall out). Any tire shop will now what to do.
