new car - questions!

Proud new owner of '08 4x4 V6 here, 100% bone stock. New to the 4runner world, so far I have discovered it to be a 4th gen, so I think I'm in the right place? I'm looking into making some subtle off-road enhancements. I will be doing some reading through the archives, but I do have some questions already. Any tips would be great, and links to previous discussions are good too! I am obviously new to Toyotas, so any other info I should know, please share.

1-maintenance. I don't have the owner's book yet so I can't lookup anything. Anything major due at 20k miles?

2-mats. the carpet mats are already trashed. I've seen weathertech mentioned, but can't find the difference between their All Weather and Digital mats?

3-lights. I'm always looking for more light! I searched(!) and found a thousand and one HID threads. I know about retrofitting, but since this already has projectors, I was wondering how well hid kit would work. Do the projectors maintain the sharp cutoff with a kit?
I like the Gobi Stealth roof rack (where is a good place to purchase this?) would be interested in slim lights that don't add a lot of height.

The digital mats are the way to go. Because they fit the floorpan and make a much better fit. I got the the ones right now up front on driver and passenger side and really helped out this winter keeping my car clean when ever i would head to the mountains.

Nothing due at 20K, but there is the 30K checkup. 30K They have a list of things they will check on the car such as flushing out the coolant, changing the spark plugs, changing the cabin filter, oil change, filter, etc.

What type of 08 4Runner did you get? SR5, Limited, Sport, Urban? Post some pictures!

Yeah the digital fits are cut specifically for their application, nice tight fit. I love mine, have the full set.

Also HIDs are the way to go, the ones in my signature are from KBcarstuff.com they are the extreme HID's with the Philips bulbs. 4300k temp for that clean white light.

Gobi rack is good, if you like the slim racks you might also want to look at the Perkins rack.

use the search feature and just look up Gobi and Perkins and you should see quite a bit of information on here, including places to buy them I'm sure.

Also you might want to browse the T4R sponsors websites, they sell most of the things we talk about all day.

Congrads on the purchase. 20k on an 08? I think I would have the T-case drained along with the diffs at this point. Just looking at the age of the truck here.
