new climate control, will this give me dual climate control?

hey guys i messed up my climate control in my 03 sr5 trying to do lights and the screen is un readable. i found a new climate control that came out of an 03 but i think its from a limited because it had dual climate control. and it has the fake marble looking stuff.

question is if i replace mine with this will i have dual climate control? what else would control this system besides the climate control unit. i dont want to replace it with this if the dual zone wont work. thanks in advance.

I might be wrong but IIRC, you'll need more than just the HVAC unit. you'll at least need the extra temperature sensor on the passenger side.

Darkie is correct. With JUST the dual controls, you are about 1% (ok, not that much, but may as well) there. You will need new blend doors (little doors that regulate how much hot/cold air gets into the cabin, in dual, there are two of them. In nondual, only one). Dual climate controls also have "automatic" button. Non dual do not (correct me if I'm wrong). So yeah, MORE Sensors. Wow, lots of pain involved if one wanted to change their climate controls to a dual/auto one. Basically, you have to change the whole "guts" of the HVAC (excpet maybe majority of the vents) system.

Best advice: stay away from that mod :biggrin2:

yea thanks, it wont be a mod, more of a fix haha, but there is auto setting on my old one.
