New Clutch Not Woking

Hey guys, I need some help. Last weekend I installed a new clutch in my '87. Not a whole lot of issues while disassembling and putting everything back went pretty easy as well. Until i tried to see if it worked.

When I start it up while it is in gear, as soon as i make the smallest move on the pedal, it jumps on my and dies. If I start it out of gear, I cannot get it to go into any gear.

So after some internet searching, I took it all apart again, changed out the throw out bearing, and rotated the plate. I rotated the plate because I was reading that if it wasn't lined up with the flywheel, you get the results that I was getting. (I was not able to get the flywheel off)

Put it all back together again, and I am getting the same issues again. I bled the clutch and everything appears to be right. I am out of ideas of what it could be.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I am doing wrong?

I believe that there is an adjustment behind the pedal itself that you need to adjust.

I did tried that already. Made the pedal feel like it should, but still didn't find any of the gears.

That is weird. Basically you're not able to disengage your clutch.

Does your clutch pedal feel soft or does it feel normal? Did you torque your pressure plate down evenly in a star pattern using a torque wrench? If you installed everything correctly and your pedal feels normal, I would look into your slave cylinder and see if the piston at the end of it is on the clutch fork like it should be. Have someone else push in the clutch pedal and visually observe the slave cylinder pushing the clutch fork in. If the slave cylinder does not move the clutch fork much then you know that the issue is in the hydraulic part of the clutch and not in the clutch assembly.

*Did you install the clutch facing the correct direction?

Same 2 questions I see asked time and time again, it's the simple things sometimes.

I did NOT use a torque wrench. If the bolts are not tightened to the exact right amount, would that be the issue?
