New driver rear caliper

So uh the caliper on my rear driver side is stripped and the top won't tighten, as of now I can pull the bolt out with pliers. I obviously need a new caliper, but Toyota wants $300 for a single one. I'm in college and money is quite tight at the moment so I was considering going with AC Delco from Amazon for $130.

They’re cheaper on rockauto after core return.
I’ve had best results with Nastra and Centric rebuilt calipers

Any idea how safe or unsafe it would be to drive with the caliper like that for now? I can bull the top bolt out with pliers but not with my bare hand

X2. Brakes and tires are one area you should never cheap out on. Too much at stake when it comes to you and yours, and others you share the road with.

go the rockauto route... after you get the new one.. send your old one back with the core label.. its about 90 bucks all said and done. Do yourself a favor and get coated. you should probably get rear pads and rotors while your there
