Get a 2013 TE

You should think about going with the 885. Eventually you will probably end up getting bumpers sliders and skid plates and will have to upgrade the suspension anyways.

I prob will get sliders and already have front skids (eventually adding on xfer case skids). These add a lot less weight than bumpers, which I really don't think I'm going to get. I really don't want to go too stiff and don't want or need the full 3" that the bilsteins will give me.

Oh they will. A truck like mine was like $15k when I looked last week. I paid $21k two years ago

Limited or sport edition. SR5 is too barebones. Sport has bigger brakes and xreas. Limited has xreas in some cases and all the bells and whistles.

Sport model sounds good. 5th gens don't have a sport option. Think it was replaced with the TE.

I have a little on the rt side skirt (not the fender liner, but the floppy one near the strut). I'm also VERY close to rubbing on the frame rail under full lock, but it doesn't look like it actually is.

It might if you're cornering over bumps. Did you lift it or just bigger tires?

It's just tires now. At full lock, it isn't close to rubbing on the rail, but if I put a tire up on the curb to flex the front end a little, then it gets close. The lift is coming soon.
