New(er) Owner! Just wanted to say hello. PICS!
Hey guys Im not that new to the forum because I looked around here alot before I got around to purchasing my owner 4runner. My father bought a black 2000 4runner in February and I was right behind him with my millenium silver 2000 4runner. We both went from owning isuzu troopers, great cars but it was time to move on, to 4runners. Couldnt be happier! We are located in the chicagoland area and after much research I feel like we got them for steal. My fathers has 93000 miles and needs some work but came with a brush guard. $7200 his. Garaged all its life so barely any rust even our crappy weather. Mine has 94000 miles and needs only general maintenance and a tune up. New radiator, newer tires, new starter, and a few other little goodies
. Also garaged and had very little rust, which i will soon be fixing as soon as this crap weather leaves haha.$7500 for mine. Id call that a steal for both. Dealers and other owners around here are asking 9-10K+! Anyway no lockers on either one but possibly a future mod? Ill post pictures as soon as I can figure out how haha. Ill probably start a build thread as I am looking to turn it from stock to trail ready to something along the lines of BigFishAllDay's 2001 rig. Already started all fluid replacement in mine and will start buying mods asap! My first purchases will include a brush guard, lights for brush guard, 4XInnovation Sliders, and some sort of lift. Also 17" tundra wheels with some duratracs. Looking to only go about 1" to 1.5" at the moment but will be looking for more in the future. Any suggestions for this will be greatly appreciated. Soo just wanted to say hello and introduce myself and like I said picures as soon as I figure out how to upload them!
