The parts are coming in for my V8 new exhaust. I installed the magnaflow cat back system (Performance Exhaust 15781). The DT headers arrived and I have sent them out for modification. They are a work of art!
I am removing the two cats and replacing with straight tubes and flanges. I had the exhaust manifolds removed today to help with the mock up. With the cat back system two pipes were shipped, one for the V8 engine and one for the V6 which is slightly longer. I am having a 3rd cat installed on the extra pipe to be located underneath the vehicle.
Now the question: there were two 02 sensors located on the exhaust manifolds in front of the first cats. Are the rear two O2 sensors mounted in front or in the back of the second set of cats? The manual looks like it is behind the second cat but the drawings look a little different than actual.
If they are behind the second set of cats, then maybe I wont have to modify their output voltage. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/175242-how-make-your-own-rear-o2-simulator-%245.html
