Ask them, it depends on the retailer you are asking them to match.
I would not personally cheap out for 20$ per tire if DT were to refuse me an Amazon match.

Not a bad deal. Not sure if they price match Amazon though. Just give them a call to find out.
Also, I'm not sure if many of you get the optional tire coverage from places like Discount, but they can still offer that to you even if you don't buy the tires from them.
I plan on getting them from DT regardless, especially because they are about a half mile from my house, but if I can save 80 bucks, I'm going to do it.
Just so anyone browsing this thread knows, DT will price match Amazon. Just did a print screen of Amazon's page, showed it to them, and they matched it. No questions asked.

Sucks too because there is a very good chance my finances are about to change significantly for the better but I'm not ready to put money on it (literally).
You know your finances better than anyone! If you "need" new rubber then there's the argument for that as well.

Shoot. I'm sorry, you're correct. I had 265/70/17 in the search, but the tire it was showing the price for was a 235.

I’m disappointed to see how the price has increased on these in some sizes/ratings. I knew it would. I’ve had 3 sets of them. My first set of E rated 285’s I got for ~$740-ish shipped to my door. I was looking for a new set today of the same and they are all closer to $900 now for the same tire. I was able to find a good deal (less than $800 shipped) for the new C rated 6 ply version that is currently offered on the new jeeps. I’ll see how they do in the next month on my new Icon Rebound wheels as I make my way out to Colorado and probably Utah. I was so tempted to get the C rated MT version because they were $739 shipped and I love the way the MT looks so much better on the wheel, but I played it sensible and got the AT.

First off, I think you’ll enjoy the load range C much better on the Runner. I’m sure you’ll notice a difference in ride compliance right off the bat. The price jump sucks but I guess it comes as no surprise. They were priced so competitively that they were losing money on what they could actually fetch for such a good tire.
I was also tempted to try the MT because of the load range C and the price. It’s also a great looking tire but if you see any snow of any sort, the performance difference between these ATs and the MT offering isn’t even close. Plus, in my 285 standard load offering, I’ve been completely blown away by all off road performance including mud. I just ran through some again the other day right after a rain and these tires never fail to impress. I think you made a good choice.

I am and I like them, no complains. If I would go 285 than I'd opt for P rating for the trails I'm running. It's my daily. BTW, the mpg dropped 1.5-2.
