Recently purchased and adding my 2 cents
Just had these installed in 265/70R17. Must say, they look much better IRL than in pics (including my own pics). First impressions are all I can give, but they are 100% positive. Ride feels great, even at higher speeds (found a length of the highway to get up to 90 without risking a ticket). I personally notice very little to no increase in noise compared to the stock Bridgestone Dueler H/T. If any of these impressions change over time, I will update.

They look good. I'm debating these as my next set of tires but they seem even in stock size to be pretty heavy (around 46) in stock size C load. Did you notice this swapping over? Acceleration braking etc?

I was worried just the same before purchasing. I can't say I feel any significant impact on braking or acceleration due to the added weight. If anything, I like the feel of the ride more now over the stocks. The Bridgestone Dueler H/T felt like driving on ballerina slippers, and these feel like work boots. Predictable, stable, and yeah, a little heavier.

Are those E range LTs or P rated 265s?

These are the P rated 265s. I couldn't personally justify the extra weight with the E range variation for my riding habits.

Anybody with 285s regret choosing P rating over E or vice versa? I'm leaning toward P since I almost never tow and drive mostly on road. A few moderate trails in the summer, and weekend snow driving in the winter with trips to the mountains.

P Rated 285s here and no regrets. I take them off-road a couple times a month and they have worked flawlessly so far.

[MENTION=167769]Mammoth Man[/MENTION] I have E rated tires (275 not 285) but have no regrets. Hit some trails here in Colorado with lots of sharp rocks, it's nice to have a bit of peace of mind.

Looking at making the switch from stock Duelers, but wanted some extra opinions on the matter. Really liking the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W, but looking to see what size and rating others would suggest.
I do quite a bit of pavement driving, highway speeds and city. A little bit of off roading but nothing too crazy (yet). I also do the occasional towing of a 2000lb boat and trailer :fishing:
Truck is still stock 2015 Trail, no lift or spacers. Any thoughts are appreciated!

I've had the P265/70/17's on for about 800 miles. Liking them so far. They are a tad noisier than the stock bridgestones especially around 40-50 mph but not too bad imo. Highway speeds just a tad more tire noise compared to stock. I'm also mostly on pavement and so far the wildpeaks seem to perform very well. Sidewalls seem stiffer than stock Bridgestones so feel a tad more road irregularities and seem to have less "roll" when cornering. Haven't had them on much wet pavement yet so can't really comment on wet performance.
The P265's weigh in at 46 lbs which is 6 lbs heavier than the stock Bridgestones. Didn't notice much of a hit on power but did take a small hit on mpg (~1-2 mpg). I have my wildpeaks mounted on icon alpha wheels which are 1.5" wider than my stock SR5 wheels. Also have bilstein 5100/ome883/wheelers T-13 coils.. so 2.5" lift front and 1.5" rear. I have just a tad of rub on my passenger mudflap when flexing in reverse. I'll fix that with a heat gun.
For the price, the Wildpeaks are going to be hard to beat.

I ordered a set of these in 285/70 that will be here tomorrow. For $647 shipped to my door, its pretty hard to beat. My current tires are brand new, but I wanted to try the 285's and the price was too good.

I have BFG 275 KO2 and my driving is mainly on road. Too aggressive tire for my needs. Falken, Nitto TG, Cooper but def something with just a little better road manners for my mainly highway n high speed driving similar to you. Just my 2 cents...

Much appreciated. I'm leaning more towards 265/70/17s, which I'm thinking I'd keep on stock rims. Something about them I like, so I'll keep them for now. I've got a little bit of time left before I trade out for the next set, but this definitely helps me get a grip on what I'm looking for!
