New Fox 2.5 installed but....

So, today my lift was installed. Fox 2.5 IFP CO's with ext travel, fox 2.0 rears, T13 springs, and Total Chaos UCA's.

Here's my problem. I go to pick up the runner from the shop and my guy tells me he's got these that came with the CO's and isn't sure what they are. They are obviously not installed so I'm curious, anyone tell me what's going on with these?

Universal fit applications? Some vendors prepackaged the hardware to cover multiple applications as it's just cheaper that way.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing, considering these CO's fit tacoma's and FJ's also. I mentioned that, and he couldn't think why either of those would require these parts.

Also, I thought it strange that in the package included 4 of these spacer like pieces and 6 bolts w/washers.

could be skid plate drop kit, or some kind of drop kit.

Looks like spacers for the front diff drop.

Yep, also considered these as well. We probably spent an hour trying to sort it out. Nothing seemed to jive with him though.

Why didn't you just call Fox?

The shop called their rep and they didn't know either. We tried calling Wheeler's too, where I bought my kit, but they were closed early on Friday.

If it is for the diff those are a lot shorter bolts than the toytec kit

Differential drop kit. Recommended for lifts over 3". If you are under 3", some install them some don't. You can do it yourself if you're worried but you should be fine.

Official Installing Anything Law = If you don't have extra parts and don't have at least minor bleeding then you did it wrong. Points taken away for looking at the instructions before you are done and before you asked about it online.

Looking at them I am saying its for the skid plate, to space it out from the sway bar when you relocate it. Otherwise it could hit the skid plate.

Bolts are 3/8" x 1 1/2", spacers are 1/2" x 1 1/4"

Thanks for the input everyone. After returning from my alignment, everything is riding smooth and steady. Without having taken it off-road yet, my initial impression is the new set up is a little stiffer, but much more stable. I'm looking forward to getting out soon to test these new shocks out on some rougher terrain.

Regarding the extra hardware, I'll call Wheeler's on Monday and see if they can offer some more insight.

Did you ever find out what those washers and bolts are for? I purchased the exact setup and after I installed the sway relocation brackets I can't get the sway bar bolted back on. The sway contacts the front radiator brackets. I think these washers are to space out the brackets to clear the sway bar.
