Was gonna say.. that's a pretty wicked amount of preload. Do you have any figures on how much your front end weighs? I'm glad it still rides good. :thumb:

The bumper is 105lb and the skid is 30lb. I'm going to add my winch(about 65lbs) in the summer so it will be interesting to see how these current 600lb coils will do.

Finished installing my Fox 2.5 IFP Non-Res Coilovers and 2.0 Shocks on my SR5. Took longer than expected.

1) Fox told me that their coilovers come pre-loaded set at the max advertised high, 3". After I installed them I only got about 2" of lift. My previous setup was with Bilstein 5100 + OME 2887 590# coils gave me a 2.75" lift with a 105lb steel bumper and 30lb skid. My truck has a very noticeable rake now.

2) Those 4 black spacers and 6 bolts are for the SR5/Non-KDSS Trail/LE models. After you install the sway relocation bracket you are essentially lowering your sway bar and mounting it forward. Your sway will come in contact with the driver side radiator support bracket(they are also used to mount your front skid plate). I bought some 1/4" thick washers from a hardware store because I didn't think the supplied 1/2" spacers would be necessary. I was wrong, 1/4" washers weren't enough to clear the sway bar and bracket. Fox did not provide any information about these spacers in the instructions guide. Fox never got back to me about those spacers/bolts via email or a call back. (This was when I had no idea what the extra hardware was for). Since I installed the 4 spacers I now have a bit of gap between the frame and the front lip of my RCI skid plate. I'm going to fabricate some aluminum bar to fill this gap.

Edit* 4/10/17, Fernando Ramirez Fox's Service Supervisor responded back. So if anybody in the future who buys the 2.5 CO's for the SR5/Non-KDSS Trail/LE 5th gen AND you want to keep your sway bar on. You will need to install those (4) 1/2" spacers & (6) bolts before you can get your sway bar on.

3) Overall, they ride better than my previous 5100/OME combo. Just disappointed with the lift. I just find Fox's customer service and instruction leaves a lot to be desired.

4) I've read that I can use a 5/16 punch to adjust the collar instead of using their expensive spanner?

So sorry, late to the game here. This is great info and the kind of response I couldn't get from anyone while I was trying to figure this out. I'm going to refer this info for my installer and see if he can make sense of how my install went. Thanks and to all the others that followed with great info.

Just installed my fox 2.5s today and can confirm that the spacers in OP's picture are required for the radiator support brackets so that the sway bar can fit after using the sway bar relocation hardware. Also, if you run a TRD skid plate, the factory TRD skid plate bolts will no longer work because they are not long enough to catch the thread after using the spacers. I had to go to the hardware store and buy some longer bolts for the skid plate. Hopefully this helps anyone installing these in the future.
