Just bought a 2002 limited about a month ago. I had a 02 Jeep gc and when I hit 90,000 on the odo the trans went out. I know. :toilet3:

Eventually I would like to put a 3'' lift on it and make trailing a hobby that both me and my son can enjoy together. Looking forward to gaining some knowledge here that will get me there.

Where at in Illinois? I'm in Peoria I wouldn't mind helping with the lift or going wheeling sometime.

In Peoria also. My 4runner is currently my daily driver. I'm dealing with all the maintenance at the moment. Replaced plugs, wires, and coils to fix a misfire. Next on the list is the radiator. I don't want to have to deal with the pink milkshake problem i've been reading about. The lift and trailing is a ways down the road. It all depends on how much my lady will let me spend.

just bypass the transmission cooler thats in the radiator and replace is with an external unit. is was real easy... took me about an hour and transmission cooler didn't bust the bank.

you probably know this, but if your going to replace the plugs get them from the toyota dealer. if you end up getting bosh plugs your going to have a bad day.

my wife hates how much time and money i spend playing around with my truck. i have a feeling she may end up putting a cap on my spending soon. haha.
