Hey my names chris and im new to this site and toyotas all together.
Just purchased a 96 4runner 3.4 limited 4x with 133k miles. I bought it not running which was a mistake but I paid so little for it that it may still be worth fixing.
So far ive fixed the fuel pump harness, intake plenum gaskets, all new vacuum hoses, taillight relay and a blown efi fuse. Has a CEL for a po330 which is knock sensors.
Oddly enough I get a nice engine knock that comes once the vehicle is warmed up. I think ive got it narrowed down to a rod knock or flexplate crack.... will know more soon.
This looks like a rad place and cant wait to check some cool rides out.
