"New Grease for the Solid axle"

Done it

You might help your case a bit if I didn't have to reread everything you say 3 times. Good communication goes a long way, especially when you are attacking one of the strongest auto manufactures in the world.

Conspiracy theories are theories. Plain and simple. Until you can prove that Toyota is shafting us, no one is going to believe you. Period.

Find an axle that has never been opened and see what is inside. Find one in a junk yard that was rolled with 20k on it.

#1 and #0 grease , go poke around the bone yard yourself, until You start poking around yourself you will remain doubtful,

go talk to some grease specialists,

For me it is not a conspiracy, just plain and simple stuff, Goop in the knuckle,

Go to the bone yard yourself,

and as far as the repeating the same thing over and over, part of the deprogramming process for Rix,

We have actually been round and round and round with this, same old stuff,,

It can be a conspiracy if you want to think of it like that sure,

But yep Toyota is shafting you plain as day, Toyota sales that is, Toyota production no, the put the goop in there,

so its the Sales dept you need to go after, The guys in Japan put together good stuff and its best that brainwashed grease monkeys @ the dealerships just plain leave them alone,

"You might help your case a bit if I didn't have to reread everything you say 3 times. Good communication goes a long way, especially when you are attacking one of the strongest auto manufactures in the world. "

well I have been working on my typing and communication skills, afterall I am just a grease monkey, fixin Rigs, this does not come natural,

But thanks I will try to be more clear, and let me repeat this,

Toyota of Japan production uses the correct grease, so I am not attacking them,

The sales dept of the strongest manufacture in the world is also the smoothest,

It came up a little bit early with a good post from a fellow that could not believe that outfits like IH8mush are extensions of Toyota sales,

So sorry if you have to re read my posts, actually you have to re read any good propagandists posts to catch the message,

Study it, poke around the bone yards yourself, this is what will wise you up,,

And perhaps my terms, way of communicating are a bit different but, should be real clear what is going on here,
Wont do you or me no good if I show you more pictures of goop in the knuckle,

Go to the bone yard yourself, look @ yota rigs, study the goop in the knuckle,

,

Go to the bone yard yourself,

,

Correction:
Go BACK IN TIME, and find an unmolested, low mileage, non-leaking example, in a boneyard, and check it out.
Alternately (those delorean time machines with their PRV v6 aren't real reliable) you can listen to the guys that were working on them when they were new, and have ACTUALLY SEEN what the factory used. :hello:

Brain washing,

Well?
Care to explain how what I've seen with my own 2 eyes is "brainwashing"?
Or you just want to type out more rambling nonsense?

The whole definition of the term, Rixxer,

What should be crystal clear and "obvious" to you is not,,

hell people can be brainwashed into putting sneekers on taking a pill and waiting for a comet,
or drinking the cool aid while their pals croak around them,

This is no big deal Rixxer, just grease, and rather easy to dupe you, tell you the actual factory fill is varying degrees of axle seal failure,

You read the other posts of folks noticing a fluid goop , soup in the knuckle and that it is not leaking,

Not me, other Rixxer, other people see what you cant, this is the term "Brain washing"

This is why I use it, no other term fits,

You have come a long way Rixxer, Stay in the light,

Seen it

Rixxer the drivetrain was modified, Remember had a Flux capacitor ..

Actually Rixxer, the 1988 Toyota that I identified this goop as a form of grease,
(because I have seen it before in other stuff and never wondered)

Took me on a Time warp all the way back to the early 1950 when Old Man Willies IE the US Govt dropped this technology on the doorstep of the Japanese,

Military Grade, commercial grade stuff Rixxer, that is what this is,

And what you cannot see because of your blind faith of Toyota sales,

Time warp,

The flux capacitor was NOT part of the drivetrain, frank. The flux capacitor was the actual time travel unit.
Later on, the "mr. fusion" seemed to replace part of the drivetrain.
Still not real sure on that point.
Maybe it just created the 1.21 giggawatts?

As for 1950..... guess what? Irrelevant.

Why does this remind me of the Matrix??

I know nothing about these things. So, Frank, is your theory that the Toyota Sales put out the wrong grease in these axles so that these vehicles who are past warranty period will need to get maintained more often..and thus more money in Toyota dealer's pockets?? And you maintain that the ORIGINAL grease from factory is the good one, right? It is the one that lasts a long time?

My question...if Toyota Sales is out to screw folks, then why not just use the bad grease from the beginning?? I think that warranty period in the USA is 3 years/36k miles unless the axle is considered part of the powertrain. In other parts of the world, the warranty period is less i think. So, if Toyota is this intent on screwing their loyal customers (aka folks who keep their Toyotas a long time), then why not just use the bad grease from the beginning?? This way, they can make even more money because customers would need to visit the dealerships even sooner! Why use the "good" stuff which lasts over 100k miles...and then screw customer after all that time??

Just an outsider with no knowledge on these things...just want to understand the premise here.

Very Good,

Thai, Because Toyota sales does not build these axles, have nothing to do with production,

Nothing, entirely different subsidiary of Toyota Motor company,

This is fact, you will find disclaimers from Toyota motor company denouncing all ties to Toyota sales,

Toyota manufacturing in Japan builds great stuff uses the best available parts engineering and Grease,

Toyota sales does not use grease in any way shape or form,

They write the books, do commercials and come up with slogans,

hopefully you can understand, if you want I will find all these resources of info, but its all out there research it just a bit,

2 different companies, production and sales, listed as such, Toyota sales is a consumer company, classified as such,
and in this case recommend a grease that propagates consumption,

Do you get it, ?

get the popcorn

There you go, fist and foremost, Toyota sales designates this,

HEREINAFTER.

Yep

hereinafter adverb after this, after today, beginning now, commencing immediately, from here on in, from here on out, from now on, from now on in, from this day forward, from this day on, from this momenton, from this point on, from this time forward, from this time on, hereafter, immediately, immediately following today, in a subsequent part of the statement, in a subseeuent part of this document, in future, in the future, lookkng ahead, subsequently

Disclaimers as such,,

Toyota production has nothing to do with the Toyota sales, I have found better disclaimers, from Toyota Motor company, but that should make the point

Toyota sales

Toyota marketing, sales, and distribution in the US are conducted through a separate subsidiary, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc..

These are the clowns that are behind the "Black propaganda" and sadly wrote the book that Rixxer clings to,

Says it in big bold letters on the cover,,

Rixxer you have been educated about grease from the sales dept,

:welcome: to the light,

we will figer it out here, this has gone on long enough,,,

Nice try Rixxer,

Me too, and I'm more than a little curious as to why Mr. Frank ends his sentences with commas (sometimes double commas) and double spaces all of this posts.

Double Cardin joint

Me too, and I'm more than a little curious as to why Mr. Frank ends his sentences with commas (sometimes double commas) and double spaces all of this posts.

Double spaces all of this posts,

Well it is so you can read all of this posts easier. When I first started I ran it to all together to close and folks complained that it was hard to read. The comma deal. Don't know just happens. Also some†imes I †ype a † like †his ?

So please understand I do not have a BS Degree and cannot type out propaganda as good as my rivals,

So you get on me about punctuation, and mis typing and such but what the hell does all of this posts mean ?

If your going to get on me about punctuation, at least use proper English when doing so.

How's the punctuation of that ? This posts Wow,

So back to the grease deal, you notice that even the color of the grease in the Honda axle I posted pictures of had the same color change phenomonem that occurs with the varying degrees of axle seal failure in the Toyota axle ??

Kinda weird huh ?

Classic, So this is what the Toyota boys say,

No one cares or remembers, that is why the #0 grease used in production on these axles is Mis diagnosed as axle seal failure,

So the new "Modern Toyota" says #2 moly grease

and if you ask Toyota information services what they are filled with from production they say

"The grease is moly base by the way. Nothing special, good quality moly grease."

Well I am going with Old School Willies on this one,,, Why?

Because there is no such thing as "The grease is moly base by the way"

Birf soup is what Old Man Willies #0 grease has become to be known as,

Birf is short for Birfield which is a Rzeppa style wheel joint to clue all you Jeepers into the new lingo,

Okay So I see the "Mushroom Factory" thread is closed? Did I step out of line with the example of "Black propaganda" ?

Can I start a new thread pointing out the "Black propagandists" Folks dont believe this is possible, but it is plain as day ? So Heretofore would like to know the Boundaries, ?

Can I Point out the main "Propagandists" ? possibly studying that and the tactixs used will wise more "Masters up" ?

Just wondering

Frank, i am not taking sides. But, you missed my point earlier. What does Toyota Sales benefit out of recommending the wrong grease?? Are you implying that Toyota Sales is doing this on purpose to get more money out of their customers???

What is the cost difference b/w the wrong grease and the right one??

Since the Toyota manual, etc. (made by Toyota Sales) all recommend earlier servicing and using the "wrong" grease, then why doesn't Toyota Production use that wrong grease also??? By using the wrong grease from the beginning, it avoids contradicting Toyota Sales (and thus, invoking madness from folks like you)?? Factory warranty is not long enough for Toyota to suffer financially from using the "wrong" grease from factory.

Although, as you stated, Toyota Sales and Production are separate entity, they both are still under the same corporate umbrella...and thus shares the blame and profits that come from each. They are not separate entity in the public's eyes.

So, basically, why would Toyota go thru all this trouble?? As with most CYA (cover your ass) corporation with plenty of lawyers, Toyota knows that everything must flow smoothly from Point A to Point Z. Everything has to be consistent from both ends of the horse (aka Sales and Production)...either consistently wrong or consistently right.

Trust me, Frank, i don't like IH8MUD either...i have had plenty of arguments over there. But, i need to see the REASONING/LOGIC behind Toyota Sales (or Production) conspiracy before i can understand your point(s).

Toyota Sales

The program includes classroom and hands-on instruction reinforced with high-tech computerized learning systems using specialized trainers, simulators and live vehicles. Toyota Motor Sales USA selected Mid Florida Tech to be part of their national Toyota Technical Education Network (T-TEN). This intense technical training program is provided in partnership with Toyota Motor Sales, USA; Southeast Toyota; and local Toyota dealers.

Oh Crap, not only Toyota motor sales into slogans and doing commercials, and stuff

They run the T Ten education of techs!!!

Yikes,

I thought as much and sure enough

Intense Technical training my ass,

Intense Technical "Indoctrination"

Poor Rixxer there it is, educated by the Sales subsidary of Toyota,

:welcome: To the light

Okay Thai let me try to answer this as best as I can because it does not follow the best logic,

One would think that Toyota sales should just recommend the same grease as production and not go to great lengths to Indroctrinate the Techs,

But be clear on this Thai there is no middle safe ground on this subject, the not picking sides is a unsafe area, There is no middle ground, no "Grey area"

I agree it does not follow the best logic,

Myself as a mechanic should have been able to go down to the dealership as I have done with other manufactures and get the type of grease used, or lube used

I have done this with Benz Rigs, GM, all sorts of vehicles, But instead of getting the grease from the Toyota dealership I was told it was "Private"

Well I am the curious type and decided what or how a Stupid grease could be private,

I am following with you Thai, this does not make sense on the surface, what is needed is to investigate this,

While I have some "Ideas" you have to pick a side, Level 3 discussions is what I call them,

Thanks for the good post,

Again:
What part of "I've seen factory grease with my own 2 eyes, and it's not what you're trying to sell" do you not understand frank.
Your "sales" conspiracy is just plain crap.
There is no sales training anywhere in my history.
Sales has NOTHING to do with repairing cars.
TMS, as stated above, is the corporate "umbrella" title under which all the U.S. Toyota operations work under.
Which, funny enough, is why the books say Toyota Motor Sales on them.
Weird, huh? (no)
Your theory is bogus, frank. Your information is wrong.
Stop with this "stay in the light" crap, because it's just that, CRAP.

"Level 3 discussion" is frank's way of saying "I don't know".
Just For the record.

I agree it does not follow the best logic,

Well, because what you're saying does not make much sense in the corporate world. Toyota would not do something this obvious and expose themselves to lawsuits from angry (loyal) Toyota owners. I hope that you are right...because i am for what is right to the customers. This is not much different than the Camry sludge fiasco...maybe on a smaller scale, but nonetheless significant.

Posting on various forums is not really getting your point across...as you have found out repeatedly. Since this forum does not really have many owners of "affected" vehicles, you have not seen/faced much resistance...but that does not mean that you have a following either.

I think that you are going about this the wrong way. Do what most Americans do...get a lawyer and do a class-action lawsuit against Toyota. If you want people to listen...if you want Toyota to do things "right" by supplying their customers with the "good" grease, then this is the ONLY way to do it. (But, this would mean that your small business of selling the "good" grease going down the drain.) It seems like you have knowledge and possibly proof...so, this should make any lawyer drool (a wet dream for them), esp. going after such a big target (Toyota). Or call up your local media outlet and give them your info...let them put Toyota back into the public's eye again...and let those Senators yell at Mr. Toyoda again!

My opinion...and my last post in this thread since i have ran out of semi-intelligent things to write. :thanks:
