"New Grease for the Solid axle"

Well it is so you can read all of this posts easier. When I first started I ran it to all together to close and folks complained that it was hard to read. The comma deal. Don't know just happens. Also some†imes I †ype a † like †his ?

I never said that my grammar or English structure was perfect, but knowingly and purposefully using odd punctuation and spacing adds to the confusion and drama.

For me, the easiest posts to read are the ones that end a sentence with a period, you know, so you are aware that the thought is over. As for double spacing, that works best between paragraphs. Again so we know that we are moving on to a new subject.

Posts that end each sentence with a,

Have lots of useless spaces,,,

End thoughts mid-stream,

Tend to look more like a ransom note,

Than a serious contribution,

Legal action

Well, because what you're saying does not make much sense in the corporate world. Toyota would not do something this obvious and expose themselves to lawsuits from angry (loyal) Toyota owners. I hope that you are right...because i am for what is right to the customers. This is not much different than the Camry sludge fiasco...maybe on a smaller scale, but nonetheless significant.

Posting on various forums is not really getting your point across...as you have found out repeatedly. Since this forum does not really have many owners of "affected" vehicles, you have not seen/faced much resistance...but that does not mean that you have a following either.

I think that you are going about this the wrong way. Do what most Americans do...get a lawyer and do a class-action lawsuit against Toyota. If you want people to listen...if you want Toyota to do things "right" by supplying their customers with the "good" grease, then this is the ONLY way to do it. (But, this would mean that your small business of selling the "good" grease going down the drain.) It seems like you have knowledge and possibly proof...so, this should make any lawyer drool (a wet dream for them), esp. going after such a big target (Toyota). Or call up your local media outlet and give them your info...let them put Toyota back into the public's eye again...and let those Senators yell at Mr. Toyoda again!

My opinion...and my last post in this thread since i have ran out of semi-intelligent things to write. :thanks:

Very Good Thai, you present good options that have already been explored to some extent,

Toyota sales is somewhat protected here,

#1 It qualifies as a Trade Secret,
#2 The information in the FSM is only a "Recommendation"

So Following advise or suggestion from Toyota sales is your responsibility, they have covered their ass,

This is the definition of the term, "Recommendation"

So the Legal option has been explored, and really not the venue, while posting on the forums is how this has been established, it is how it needs to be undermined,

So your right only 1 year or so 4 runner had this axle so, not so many folks get all bent, and call for my ban,

What you suggest could be explored more, but again they seem to have covered themselves well,

In reading thru the disclaimers there is a section that refers to the "Intellectual Property laws" so that may be the venue,

The Toyota information is in direct conflict of "Intellectual Property" owned by this here grease monkey,

and that would be this goo is a form of grease, not axle seal failure, so may be something there,

Well established, completely Indoctrinated Techs, Baffled owners, Aftermarket companies with Fixes for a problem that does not exist,

IE the heavy duty axle seal,

This is a insult to Toyota engineering, a little out fit had to come up with a fix to the best engineered rig around,

Total insult to Toyota Engineering of Japan, you read the write up on this heavy duty axle seal
This little Rig is polluting the world over, Total propaganda,

If I where Hideaki Wannabee, (Chief Engineer for Toyota Landcruisers) I would be bent,

Toyota Sales makes it look like I put together a piece of crap that leaks,

Bent, yep But the BS radar is going off on that dudes name I know I spelled it wrong but its something like that,

Totally bent, a massive problem with axle seal failure, that does not exist,

Just Toyota Sales telling folks to put in a grease that causes oil separation,

To bad you dont have anything more to add, Maybee its because you do not wish to get drawn into the muck of Toyota deception,

So I will give you one theory as to Why Toyota Sales does not sell this grease,

It will require you to do some research and have a good understanding of how things work, To prove Rixxer wrong about when I say level 3 discussions it requires some thinking, some research,

Theory #1 is this grease is not on the shelf of Toyota dealerships because EPA laws of importing hazardous materials to North America,

Its Called Montreal Protocol ,

The goop is shipped over in the Rigs, from Japan, but bulk barrels of it , No

#1 Theory, but thanks, for your posts, rather than the nonsense I am used to hearing,

Very good, If you do want the best for folks Follow up on this,

This is True

Sounds like you have been under the lifts inhaling exhaust fumes a little too long...

Yes, I can only be around a rig running in the shop for a few seconds before I start feeling sick,

This started after being stuck underneath a Ford Bronco for hours working on a Recall for gas back feeding into the tank, installing a check valve,

I have proprobly inhaled more asbestos , Hydro carbon fumes, than is healthy
but part of the deal

And So is grease, So when some pansy ass parts peddling dirtbag calles me a liar and a moron I tend to get pissed,

This info is being brought to you from the trenches, and your dead on right
inhaled way to much exhaust fumes,
But have a nose for when a rig is running rich that is for sure, pick it out in a second,

so add your stupid comments, all I need is 1 to follow along with what I am saying,

I am used to it, just like the exhaust fumes, while that is one thing, seeing posts like yours brings me to a understanding on how easily Toyota sales can dupe you,

Sad really,

You were fired from Ford, is that part of the conspiracy?

Personal attacks

You were fired from Ford, is that part of the conspiracy?

True to form, that is all you got,

My Instructor, educator in Trade school always mentioned a mechanic was not really worth a crap till he got canned,

I never really understood that @ the time but I see it now,,

You need to can yourself from Toyota sales Rixxer and move into the real world,

just saying, what the Teacher said was dead on , you see all you really know is Toyota Rixxer, all you really care about, all you can talk about,,

The world is bigger than Toyota Rixxer, step out, look around , just saying,

But hey personal attacks thats all you got, but thats okay shows me that your reading what I am posting,

Which is good, your getting there Rixxer, good Job, You can begin to think of me as your "Exit counselor"

"Deprogramming refers to actions that attempt to force a person to abandon allegiance to a religious, political, economic, or social group. Methods and practices may involve kidnapping and coercion.[1] Similar actions, when done without force, are called "exit counseling".

And after this is all Over Rixxer we will pass around the hat and get you a good week or so off @ one of these types of operations,

cognitive dissonance

Understand the games that the mind-programmers and brainwashers play on people's heads, and the techniques that they use for mind-control.

For instance, there is the phenomenon called "cognitive dissonance". What it means is: People want to keep all of their beliefs, actions, thoughts, and feelings in harmony with each other. People want to do what they believe is right and good, and if they do otherwise, they feel bad — they feel "dissonance". The "dissonance" is just like musical dissonance — it feels jarring and discordant and wrong.

Brainwashers have discovered that they can use cognitive dissonance to change people's behavior, beliefs, feelings, and thoughts — force a change in one, and the others will follow. If you force people to perform certain actions, they will eventually come to believe that it's okay — it must be okay, because they wouldn't want to be doing bad things all of the time. If you force people to say something out loud to a group over and over again, the speakers will eventually come to believe that it is true, because they don't want to feel like they are habitual liars. The subconscious mind's solution to the problem is: believe that it is all true, so now there is no conflict.

force a change in one, and the others will follow.

Your being Reprogrammed Rixxer,:welcome:

Sad really,

That in no way shows how easily I am duped. It shows that I am a sceptic, and thus, won't be duped by your crackpot ideas. Find some way to prove the difference between stick grease and the replacement grease. Words aren't going to help you at this point. Period.

Understood,

Deeds Not words,

Its happening, have guys testing samples of this grease,

Simple Research

Simple research tells why the stuff you're trying to sell shouldn't be used frank.

I Understand Rixxer, Simple research for you it to open Toyota sales manual and It tells you very simply

Remove the plug,

Pack in incompatible lithium moly grease and put the plug back in,

In some books even drew you a picture of a grease gun and a arrow pointing to the plug,

Just in case you can't read,

More complex, sophisticated research reveals that there is a fluid grease used in less than oil tight power transmission devices that is used in commercial engineering that will work better last longer,

One that allows for trouble free operation for 30 or more years,
a "Correct Fluid"

My Good pal Kurt tells you about this Correct fluid,

"Take it to a shop that knows what they are doing. For $600 you can get a complete knuckle overhaul, with the correct parts and fluid and not worry about your axle for another 30 years.

I'm done listening to your backwoods-logic, you have admittedly zero experience in the Toyota axles and yet you continue to bill yourself off as the pro so you can fence some miracle oil.

So Rixxer I use that quote not to have the parts peddling obfuscating clown back my product but to show knowledge of a "Correct fluid" and the longevity that can be obtained,

Also I am pointing out since you do not use a "Correct Fluid" your a shop that does not know what they are doing,

You are being insulted by one of your own, While you may be okay with it, I am not,

You see I can easily put myself in your shoes, if I would have gone thru the same indoctrination as you @ Toyota Sales T Ten schools I would think the same way,

From all that I gather , a good tech, decent welder, and a family guy, I am sticking up for you, You do know what you are doing in all other aspects of this axle, except the key lubrication with the correct fluid,

In many ways after working with this grease it is much easier, may not seem that way but it is, after 20 years of using a #2 grease and conventionally packing wheel hubs,

Now all I do is fill em full of the correct fluid, Just like Toyota, while many axles that I use this fluid in are not designed as well as this Toyota , I have had no containment issues,

More complex, sophisticated research, shows EVEN MORE why sodium based grease is INFERIOR to just about every other grease you can buy for an automotive application.
ESPECIALLY once you look at the heat capabilities.

How so ?

Rixxer,

How hot do you think it gets in a wheel hub, ?

And Rixxer what your failing to see is that in the semi fluid form the amount of thickener is so small of a %

It is the oil mixed into this strongest thickener of greases (sodium) that does all the lubricating, drawing heat away from the bearings,

it is the Oil in the grease that does all the good stuff, As the specialist of Pirate pointed out to you the best lube option for longevity would be a oil,

I agreeded but mentioned that containment would be a issue, So Toyota of Japan engineers knew all of this, used a grease that contained mostly oil, a very small % of thickener up to less than 10 % by volume and used a thickener that is known best for is adhesion qualities,

But Know this Rixxer, we are now entering level 3, I congradulate you on your progress,

Stay in the light

Axle Repair/service,

So Rixxer,

If you wish to know what your doing here and use a correct fluid, I would be more than happy to come over to your area and show you this grease in action,

This way Kurt wont be able to bash you and make you look bad, I mean, that is pretty harsh,

Telling a Factory Toyota tech he is not a shop that knows what they are doing,

It is capatilizing on the typical sterotype that mechanics are ignorant,

Well not you Rixxer, your a sharp dude, and If I can get you to walk away from the cult, of Toyota sales,

Others will follow,

So just putting it out there Rixxer, A put up, so maybee you will shut up with your Toyota sales babble and more folks will wise up to whats going on here

Since its painfully obvious,

You CAN'T make me look bad, frank, YOU ARE WRONG.
When it's all said and done, you are lieing, and that's the end of it.

Lookin bad,

You CAN'T make me look bad, frank, YOU ARE WRONG.
When it's all said and done, you are lieing, and that's the end of it.

Rix,

I am not @ all trying to make you look bad, I am merely trying to re-educate you,

Like I said, sharp dude, good tech, just been mis-informed, I have presented facts of who actually educated you,

Toyota Sales,

This does not make you look bad, just how it is, Now if these same Toyota sales folks call you ignorant in public after they have mis informed you,

Its just wrong,

You cant see it, but I can, This is why I use these terms of "Brain washing"

If you cannot do nothing but call me a liar, after I have spent hours researching this and presenting my findings,

Prove it,

Now what I would like is for you to report this post to the moderators and ask if I can present the facts of indoctrination by Toyota sales,

There are 2 Individuals that I would like to point out as being "Black Propagandists," or Grey, in the case of the student,

The Master Black propagandist is Idaho Doug, his Grey protege is Kurt Williams,

We have established the Black propaganda definition, Thai pointed out the fact that folks do not see the difference between Toyota sales and Toyota production,

This is how it Works so well, the Obfuscating Sales guys piggy back on the impecable reputation of Toyota production,

And make suggestions, and advise a incompatible grease from production,

I can make this case and prove it,

It has fallen on You Rixxer to step up and be a leader in your community, Longfield does not think he can do anything about this,

This is a opportunity for you, pretend for a minute that I am not actually making any off this up,

Like a guy could come up with such a story, and you had wholesale bulk gops O goop to fill up axles, Toyota Trade Secret Goop,.,,

You would make a Ton of Money on side jobs, just a thought,

My goal has never been to make you look bad, sluff off all of your insults, slanderous personal attacks because I know that these comments should be directed @ those who Indoctrinated you,,

So I am willing to prove beyond any reasonable doubt of intentional mis leading Dis information from Toyota Sales, Toyota Aftermarket parts suppliers,

If I can present my case,

Remember I presented this information on a thread on Utah Rock Crawler ,.

Thread called Toyota steering knuckle leak,

Its been a couple of years now but the information is still there, If I walked you thru that thread I proves knowledge of this type of grease, by Toyota aftermarket parts suppliers,
and intentional dis information,

It is you that makes yourself look bad by calling me a liar Rix,

Remember that, I am offering to Show you,,,

RES NON VERBA,

And I'll repeat myself AGAIN:
You keep lieing, I'll keep calling you a liar.
It's not even an insult or slander at this point (well kinda), it's just plain truth.

I really don't kow how you can keep on with this rambling nonsense, when you have been proven wrong, told you are wrong by MANY MANY MANY people that know a lot more than you do, even shown pictures that prove you wrong.
Your story keeps changing, trying to keep up with your nonsense, and everyone sees it but you.

I'll also repeat again:
You cannot "re-educate me", "bring me into the light", or any of your other psychobabble, when your whole basis for it is WRONG. It just doesn't work that way.

Many people that know more

The many people that know more than me,

Okay, start with Kurt, well he knows about the correct fluid that lasts for 30 years,

So then there is Toyota information services that states the factory fill is a "Moly based Grease"

I am re educating you, I have brought you into the light of Toyota 4 runner forums,

My whole basis is correct, Toyota production can build a enclosed steering axle as good as the old domestic units that go for 30 plus years on a semi fluid grease,

This is fact, I have a old rig with this style axle,

So you will have to admit #1 that Toyota production took a axle that was capable of 30 plus year longevity with the correct fluid,

and loused it up,

Turned it into a leaking puking piece of ****,

Admit it , state it or Move to step 3

pop corn break

You CAN'T make me look bad, frank, YOU ARE WRONG.
When it's all said and done, you are lieing, and that's the end of it.

Another thing to closely inspect is the bushing support,

I have put a ideal spec of min .004 and max allowable of .008 ?

I could find no wear limit in the books so .008? larger than the axle?
