Sorry guys iv had some serious health situations and had to be away for a bit. I dont understand, pride in my state? We always abbreviat wi because a lot of people confuse the i with a lower case L so its Wi instead of Wl. I think that's what u mean anyway? Ordered my runner just have to wait 6 more weeks to get it!
 
Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hopefully you are on the mend. Just kidding about the capitalization. I have no problems in my state of IA

If they think the 'i' in WI is an 'L' where do they think you're from?

I'm over yonder in MN, but frequent WI often. My parents are in near Rice Lake and have in-laws around Eau Claire.

C'mon now... I spent decades payin' taxes in MN/WI and I never saw that / heard that / did that "Wi" thang. LOL And people that can't understand WI as a recognized state abbreviation...well...they're probably confused by a lot of simple things. Heh heh

Frequent MN, WI a lot. From Iowa as the signature shows. Wondering what is up around Superior as we will be going up there in a few weeks to a cabin? Prior to that will be doing Walker, MN on 10 mile if anyone has input there as well.

Are you gonna be there for the 4th or after? I've got the whole next week off and will be at my cabin up near walker the whole time. Can't decide which 4Runner to drive around while I'm up there. BTW I've bought my 5 speed from Wisconsin and have named it Drink Wisconsibly.

Ha actually laughed at loud at work with the name! But no I will be up there July 11-18th. Will have to shoot you a message if you are up there and see if you can show me some where to do some fishing with my bargain $20 pole.

Haha. I know I have a found a few, but damn you are right. A bunch of damn people from the coasts showing off their off road spots and rigs. Where are you at?
 
So WI or is it WL? folks, has any one done the TWAT? Not many reviews online and it looks mild but the northern part looks interesting. Was planning to take a weekend/day this summer and go exploring. Any feedback would be appreciated.

TWAT = Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail for those dirty minded folks on this forum.

I'm from WI as well. I'd like to join the group. . . if I knew how.

Not many OHV trails in WI open to the public that I've seen.

There is also this going on in one month - the Great Northern Trail Ride. Looks interesting (to an off road novice like myself), but pricey:

It's WI but Wi has always been easier for some odd reason. Maybe it's just me. Lol. Just back at it so i apologize I will figure out how to get the Wisconsin link going. Parts of the board options aren't working for me.
 
In haven't been in WI for years. Gawd what a beautiful state. Last time I was there I drove Eau Claire to Two Harbors MN in one day. I wanted to stop everywhere - to canoe, to camp - but it wasn't in the plan. I'd love to see a picture of a T4R with a canoe on top and imagine it's headed for the Boundary Waters where my folks spent their honeymoon. I want to spend a summer on the shore of Lake Superior and live on nothing but Walleye.

Enjoy your state, buds. It's magic.
