What's up people? Just got a 2006 SR5 4 Runner 2WD with 4.0l V6. Coming from having VW's and love it so far! Looking forward to doing a few things to it and make it my own!

Hoping to get some cool ideas and help from this forum!

Welcome! Would love to see some pictures :)

Here she is. Nothing special lol. Plans are, first a nice tune-up, then leveling kit, and after that, new headlights and fog lights since they all look horrible and somebody tried to fix them and made them even worse

Also going to black-out all the chrome and wheels, then darker tint. Wanting to do 4300k HID's also with yellow fog light bulbs. All of those should keep me busy for a while since it will be a slow progress! So far I found some great info on here.

I think the shield for the gas tank in dented in. I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to look like that lol, so I will be taking that off and bend it back out somehow soon.

I guess I should start a little progress thread or something :)

Here is what i did last night. Plasti-Dip. Not sure if i want to take off all the other logos or just dip them also yet.

Thanks guys! So I found out that the cool kids take off their running boards, so I did that, and also painted the inside of the headlights, which is I'm happy with but the lenses were already so bad, it doesn't look that great.

So, I will still get new headlights and probably going to paint those black with some yellow fogs. Hopefully will be rebadging today also!

Yea for sure! I need to find locals now to get some ideas and help. What part of Houston are you living in?

northwest houston/cypress area, if you ever wanna get offroad you can check out sugarhill offroad park. its off of beltway 8 and bissonett

Yea I know about Sugarhill but never been. I don't think I can make it there in a 2WD though lol. Might have to bring out our Wrangler for that. Still would give it a shot though once I lift up a bit with better tires.

I'm in the southeast side in Deer Park.

you'll be fine for the most part there, my friend has 2wd and made it through pretty much everything. just stay away from the mud pits! :)

WELCOME, Sixpack!

I'm in Friendswood and love my T4R. If you see me on the road, give me a wave. Here is what mine looks like:
