Howdy

First time 4Runner owner. 1999 Limited 2WD with the V6 and auto.

I had bought it for my daughter, but she wasn't taking care of it and whining about the mileage, so I took it back. It needs a bunch of cleaning and TLC, but there's a solid truck waiting to shine under all of the spilled drinks and dirt. The seats are cracked, I'm going to start hitting the junkyards for replacements.

This looks like a great forum for info, I can't wait to start reading!

Plenty of info in the 3rd generation section regarding seats.

for seats, you might consider covers if you can't find decent seats at a junkyard.

if the seats are beyond repair, change is the only way to go. but, if they are just dirty, seat covers might be a good alternative.
