New guy in Montana

Hello all! My name is Dan and I just signed on today. I live in Montana with my wife and 2 girls, (ages 2 and 6) and my old, crippled dog Homer.

Anywhoo, I'm very seriously contemplating selling my land whale 1988 Suburban for either a 2nd or 3rd generation 4Runner. I don't have a line on anything just yet, but I'm hoping to have one sometime this spring or early summer. I even have my wife's permission. :thumb:

I'm looking forward talking to y'all and learning about the 4Runner's because even though I'm good at mechanic's, Toyotas are going to be a whole new learning curve for me since I've only had Chevy's and a couple of Fords.

Welcome, DaddyDan. I learned to drive in my dad's old '68 suburban. Sometimes my 4runner feels kind of like it, but in a smaller, much more capable (except for towing and stowing) off-road, better built version. I think you'll like the new-to-you 4Runner.
