Hi All,

I am new to the site and I can't tell you how much it has helped me with various issues! It is so nice that there are this many folks who care as much about there trucks as I do and to have questions answered by looking a threads as well as getting new ideas!

I am looking for a rear license plate trim piece (Don't know if that is the "Official" name for it or not. I can post a pic if needed to describe the part better, but I am sure that everyone knows what I am talking about. The housing that holds the lock cylinder broke off so I am looking for a whole new piece. Anyone have anything?

There is a Mazda/Toyota Recyclers in Portland and another one called The Toy Man in Portland. Google "Toyota recyclers" and you should get a couple hits in your area, If not google the two places I posted above and they might ship it to you if they have it in stock. An online one that I haven't used yet but I'm always looking at is car-part.com It's a huge database nationwide for parts

Try Crossroads Foreign in Mira Loma, CA. (909) 983-2615. They are actually a 3rd gen specific junk yard. I don't know if they ship items or how expensive it will be, but I'm pretty sure they'll have the piece you're looking for. I would imagine they would ship something small like that.

you have to buy the "License Plate Garnish" with that emblem on it.

check out this site. Search the part number 76801-35260. There's even a little diagram that shows you all the badges and options. Hope this helps!

Edit: I lied. Looks like you can just buy the name plate for 40 bucks. My bad.

Just go to the dealer.

It's not as cheap, but they look amazing new.

I couldn't tell you how much it cost since I got mine through insurance, but it's usually something that breaks when being removed...

Yeah Michael, thanks for the tip there on the other topic.
I am still looking for the badges. I a now considering painting the whole licence plate garnish and placing badges on the sides only, as on the 4Runners after 97.

Do you know what would be the right badges? I am looking for the ones "4Runner", "SR5", "V6" and "4WD".

ChildrenOfBodon, do you know how much those cost on a dealer around your area or maybe an Ebay seller?
