Hey guys I'm new on here and new to Toyotas. I just picked a 86 4runner turbo auto fully loaded . It doesn't have a motor but it has everything else so what I need help with is the motor I would like to build a 22re up to turbo spec. Or what other year motors will bolt up and plug n play with the ecu

Will a 85 22re n/a turbo work with my ecu because there is a guy selling on near me

The turbo wiring harness and ECM is not a direct swap with the non-turbo.
Your best bet would be to get the 22RE wiring harness and ECM.
The 22RE was available from 85-95.

Will I still be able to use my digital dash and all the options it has if I switch the ecm
