Hey what's up everybody, I just joined a few days ago on here as well as yotatech and ttora. I am starting out to say hi here first, because I seem to find myself in these forums more often while searching for info.
I recently sold my 98 LS400 because I knew I really wanted a truck for many reasons, plus driving the LS is nice, but its very boring to me when I'm limited to smooth roads all the time. I have been searching for a while to find a 4runner that suited all my needs and wants, and its been very difficult, with some great deals out there that seem to go very fast. I finally found a great deal and pursued it, leading up to me being here introducing myself and my ride. It ended up being a 97 limited 4x4 w/ factory locker, 138,000 miles and overall pretty good condition with everything working.
First 2 pics are when I picked her up.
After getting home, I took it over to my buddy's house and he helped me pull off the cargo basket and the running boards, and the last pic is now how's she's sitting.
It was just pouring outside while we went and ran up a local trail, officially testing everything out and aimed my off road driving lights while I was at it. Everything is great, just a lil muddy now. :whoo:
Thanks for stopping by! Hope to run trails with other members sometime, I'm looking for some local AZ 4x4 clubs to join. I'll probably eventually do a build thread, until then, peace.

Thanks everybody! I am so happy to finally be able to go have fun where I want to, and glad to be a member and a part of this huge forum... the outdoors are my home. yeah the running boards had to go, I might just sell them to fund some sliders. If any of you local guys hear of any group runs through the Florence junction area, lemme know... I live in San Tan Valley about 15-20 mins from the 79 and price rd. I've already been taking small trails here and there, but taking things really easy as most the time we're in a single vehicle. I'm itching to get out and really put the 4wd to use!
U ever come out this way bimmer?

I mainly stay around north phoenix, but it's usually just light stuff because it's mainly just me. I wouldn't mind making a trip down by you one of these days. There seems to be a pretty good amount of us that maybe we can get some trips planned out. Right now I would have to keep it light as this is my only running vehicle but once I get my other car on the road I'm down for anything!

Yeah, I still need to do some looking around locally here to see what and if others are planning anything, but keep in touch with your vehicle status and hopefully we can hit some trails sometime. If you hear anything up by you let me know also, my uncle lives in Peoria and has an FJ he likes to take out so I know he'd be down... now that I think about it, he's probably lurking on one of these forums somewhere... anyway, if I hear anything myself I'll let you know.
