Hey what's up everybody, I just joined a few days ago on here as well as yotatech and ttora. I am starting out to say hi here first, because I seem to find myself in these forums more often while searching for info.
I recently sold my 98 LS400 because I knew I really wanted a truck for many reasons, plus driving the LS is nice, but its very boring to me when I'm limited to smooth roads all the time. I have been searching for a while to find a 4runner that suited all my needs and wants, and its been very difficult, with some great deals out there that seem to go very fast. I finally found a great deal and pursued it, leading up to me being here introducing myself and my ride. It ended up being a 97 limited 4x4 w/ factory locker, 138,000 miles and overall pretty good condition with everything working.
First 2 pics are when I picked her up.
After getting home, I took it over to my buddy's house and he helped me pull off the cargo basket and the running boards, and the last pic is now how's she's sitting.
It was just pouring outside while we went and ran up a local trail, officially testing everything out and aimed my off road driving lights while I was at it. Everything is great, just a lil muddy now. :whoo:
Thanks for stopping by! Hope to run trails with other members sometime, I'm looking for some local AZ 4x4 clubs to join. I'll probably eventually do a build thread, until then, peace.
