New here (remote fob programming)

Been lurking around for a while and finally decided to join.
Question:
I only have one remote and key since I bought it used. now my buddy has a remote from a 2003 sequia since he put in a remote start he doesn't need it anymore so he gave it to me, I checked all the codes on the back of the two remotes and they match now how do I program his to work with my t4r? also the OEM keys they sell on ebay with the chip inside, will those work on my truck?

Try these:

Those keys sold on ebay should work for your truck, but you'll still need them programmed at the dealership otherwise they will not start your vehicle.

I went ahead and ordered the key from streetkeys. I'll let everyone know about the service when I go to get it programmed.
as for the remote, I keep on getting the two lock/unlock(error) signal when I do step 11. any ideas? I'd hate to bring it to a dealer and get shafted.
