GJ on using Amazon Smile! I work for a non-profit and we get quarterly checks from Amazon from people that support our programs though Amazon's program. It's only 0.5% of the sale, but it adds up quick because so many people shop there.
If you ever feel like switching and donating to Agape International Missions I wouldn't mind it one bit
PS I LOVE my Super Bass horns. I find myself looking for excuses to honk at people now LOL

I started using Amazon Smile earlier this year. Indeed it adds-up! Don't ask how many iPads I dished-out on Christmas...

Glad the PIAA Super Bass are working well for you. I actually contemplated two pairs of those. The Hellas just don't do it for me. Moments ago I committed to the group buy on the Tacoma forum for the Caddy horns (A, C, D & F). I'll get them in mid-Feb, so plenty of time to do more pressing projects...

And an objective measure of loudness would be great too, such as the use of a db app for both horns (stock and PIAAs)...

Would be neat to see, a more apples-to-apples... Direct to the battery as I did with some experimentation a couple weeks back. Similar, I tested the El Grandes like stock (no relay).

Well, I'm not putting my stockers back on lol. I could do a db test on mine at a set distance, but I'm guessing each phone would get a different reading.
The sound clip on the PIAA website is 100% spot on on what it sounds like though.

I'll make some sound clips and upload later today or tomorrow. I'll compare the stock horns, the Hella Sharptones that just got delivered to me yesterday (can't beat the $25 price, thanks Tony!), as well as a pair of Fiamm horns from some big truck I grabbed today at Pick Your Part - couldn't pass them up for $3.98.

Went with the supertones and sharptones. They make a nice sour note together.

Here is the comparison of the three horns: stock, Hella Sharptones, then the junkyard Lincoln Navigator horns. I also measured the sound level output, all three were similar, between 71 and 74db.
I think this is a bit deceiving, the stock horn sounds similar to the Sharptones in this clip, but it doesn't in real life.
Regardless, I don't like the pitch of the Sharptones, so I'll go with my junkyard find (last one).
