Tore out the entire interior and sprayed bed liner front to back, put hinged cover where rear seat was, threw down carpet, put the bucket seats back in and this is the result. The eye bolt and strap in the middle goes to my dog's chest harness to keep her in when I put my softopper down, or roll up the windows of it.
No more mildew smell!! Hooray!
Now, what about the missing panels at the back??? any creative idea's??

Make some tempates of the rear covers and cut them out of your choice of wood, aluminum or some OSB with laminate or formica over the top. I'm sure you can come up with something really cool.

I have the same thing done on the inside. I traced out my panels and used LEXAN as a replacement. I also used VELCRO at the top and bottom to give it a nice clean look. Plus it allows the panels to be taken off with ease. My panels are all one piece..

I like the idea of an easily removable panel. Maybe make it a usable storage space? I do like the classic diamond plate too.
Man I cant wait til springtime to go open air!! This soft top seems great so far, but I have only had it in winter time.
