new lift with stock tires and now the speedo is wayy off!!!!

soo i got my toytec ultimate 3'' lift and UAC installed today. i still have my stock tires on. no new tire size. and now my speedo is off by like 15-20 mph. (im not sure how many MPH's exactly) but i can tell its wayy off.
does any one know why this is happening? is this normal even tho i still have stock tires??
anyone els runn into this problem?
please help

Lift shouldn't change the speedo at all. How do you know it's off?

i could just tell. i drove in the slow lane and was going what felt like 60 or 65 but my speed said 80 or 85.

plus when i give it gas off the line, i will go slow neighborhood driving and my speedo says like 40 and i know for a fact i am not going that fast

You have a gps or smartphone?

yah im going to use my garmin GPS when i go to dinner and see exactly how off it is.
nevertheless, i know it is still off. this will drive me insane.
it has to be fixed

I think the speedo is run off the ABS wheel sensors. You might have either bumped a sensor or broke a sensor wire during the install.

That should trigger the vsc lights etc though.

On a brighter note, you should take a video for Youtube that makes it look like the 4Runner is going 0-60 in like 3 seconds :driving: haha but good luck getting that taken care of. That would drive me crazy too.

Ive actually cut the wire on accident on my drivers side ABS while adjusting my coilovers last year, and it didnt mess up anything with my speedo and i drove around with it for a month like that, without problems, Just the ABS light remained on, My VSC off light is always on because the mechinism is cut off... My input, hope it narrows down the problem
