Anyone know if the new Alpine ILX-107 7" double din will work? It supports wireless CarPlay, which is what I want.

Maybe not a huge deal, but it looks like the Alpine doesn't do dynamic parking lines on the reverse image, just fixed lines. Kenwoods have that feature.

Not a big deal since I don't use the static lines either. It would be nice to have, but I'd much rather have wireless CarPlay.

Does anyone have the Maestro RR installed in a 2010? It's pretty awesome, except I was hoping that it would read transmission temp on mine but it doesn't.
With the $150 rebate going and a big newegg sale I scored a Pioneer 4210NEX HU for $350. I'm about to install a Pioneer 4210NEX HU with a Maestro RR in my 2013 4runner SR5 with no JBL/backup camera and would like to run through some questions regarding the Maestro ADS-HRN-RR-TO1 harness in this thread before soldering the spaghetti wires.
In regards to wiring the Pioneer ND-BC8 camera do I just directly splice its red wire to TO1 harness RED-ACCESORY and black wire to BLACK-GROUND wire and the RCA pin into the HU Brown BC IN. Can I safely assume that the TO1 harness would cover the REVERSE GEAR SIGNAL INPUT when wired properly. Would that be enough to trigger the reverse camera view when backing up? Or do I have hack up the REVERSE CAMERA HARNESS with OEM plugs to acommodate the aftermarket backup cam ND-BC8 if so where does the cam red and black wire go?
Thanks for updating the shopping list for the 2013 I got everything except XM part. My USB hub is in the middle below HU and not inside the glovebox so hopefully the Metra AX-TOYUSB-2 would work. Not sure exactly how and where can I run the backup cam yet but I would like to pre-wire its connections when I do this install. Any other tips/tricks that would help me with this install would be appreciated!
Have you ever figure out how to feed your backup cam feed to your HU? You're right with that harness it really looks intimidating, few youtube vids kinda helping me right now. Any other tips or other things you might have done differently in the first place? I was looking forward on having the dealer customizable available until I read here that it's not available for pre-2014 is that right with your experience?
What pioneer HU did you install? Did you have a factory backup cam as well? I might shoot you a pm if I run through some hiccups.

Great exactly same HU I have. What year is your 4runner? The only instructions that I have is from their website as I have attached on my post. That's what I'm afraid of since I don't have factory cam mine might have been wired differently. I just want to make sure if I wire the cam direclty to the main harness the reverse light would still trigger the cam switch.

I did get the backup camera working. My 2013 has the backup screen in the rearview mirror. I hooked in to that camera feed by using information in [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION]'s thread.
Once you put the Maestro Toyota TO1 harness and diagram next to the Maestro Rr harness and diagram, it will eventually make sense. It looks much more complicated than it really is.
The Metra AX-TOYUSB-2 worked for the USB port. Mine is below the head unit, too. You have to take out the glove box and a bit of dash on the passenger side to get to the box where the USB adapter plugs in. There are instructions in this post.

I was about to ask about that usb plug, it didn't look like the right plug in the back of that usb hub. I'm assuming you used a usb extension to reach it?
I'm about almost finished soldering connections right now. Regarding the YELLOW/BLACK wire-FOOT BRAKE on my 4200NEX unit it's YELLOW/BLACK-MUTE. Should I wire this together or no? Thanks for the help!
Pioneer does not have a foot brake wire, only lt green parking brake.
Ok I'll terminate that connection then. I'm wondering why Maestro is using 2 AUX inputs. Do you know what kind of audio feed is the AUX IN RCA cable? Is it for the factory aux audio input i.e. below the factory USB hub? I was hoping to use that open AUX IN RCA input in the HU for that for exact purpose as I didn't think that the aftermarket usb connector will keep the aux in functional.

The USB adapter goes from the head unit to the box behind the glove box. The connection to the back of the USB connector at the center of the dash doesn’t get changed.
I got this adapter from amazon. Is this the right one? I just don't see it plugging into that brown plug and there is no way that it would reach the HU without an extension.

Bump regarding this question.
2010 - 2013 USB adapter requires Metra AX-TOYUSB-2. The one you have is for 2014 and up. Check out the shopping list on the first page.
There is no adapter for the aux jack, you would have to splice in rca connections for that. Not really worth it, its all about USB these days.

I'm confused the one I just linked is the metra ax toyusb 2. Are you saying I need the 2014 adapter?My car is 2013.
