It only took me working at a Toyota dealership about 5 weeks before I had to have a 4Runner.

I ended up buying an '07 V8 Limited with 86k on the clock.

I'm really enjoying it so far and intend to own it a long time. The frame is pretty rusty but I hope to address that soon. The body is in great shape with the only flaw being the typical wear-through on the drivers seat.

I look forward to a little personalization and an immediate head unit replacement. (I need bluetooth and CarPlay).

I'm a new owner as of this weekend in the Cleveland area as well!

I'm actually having some troubles with the 4WD, and being in this weather it has not been ideal at all. So any recommendations for a good shop in the area would be greatly appreciated!!

For details; the dash has a blinking 4LO light, the center diff light and VSC off light are always on. But the 4Runner is definitely in 2WD and the center differential is not locked despite the light saying otherwise. Nothing happens when I press the center differential button or try switching to/from 2H-4H-4L...

Checked with an OBD II reader and am getting the code P0500 "vehicle speed sensor malfunction"...

I've tried checking sensors and ECU's and forums galore and I'm at a loss as to what the problem is.

Chuck's Sunoco on Center Ridge and Wager in Rocky River is a good OEM shop. If you have any OEM issues Chuck will sort it out. He loves the Yota/Lexus family.

Small shop, reasonable prices, but sometimes hard to get into because he only has 3 bays. Give him a call, (440) 331-1127

Looks good! I have always enjoyed the 3rd gen 4runners and wanted one since I had it as a base vehicle in Afghanistan.

Also, good to see fellow midwesterners around here. Indiana doesn't have many great places to go wheeling, which gives me the excuse to go travel!
