:hello: hey folks, I just joined the site recently - I picked up a clean 3rd gen (98) the other week and looking to learn a lot and participate in the discussions.
I have had several jeeps in the past but this is my first yota.. as some would say I've gone to the darkside, or came from the darkside depends on what side of the old jeep vs. Toyota stance you take, lol.. either way its about building your rig and having fun.
I'm already planning for the deck plate mode, and have air raid intake and borla exhaust ordered. the PO replaced the coil springs recently so it seems to sit with about an 1" or so lift sitting on 265/70/16s. new tires and replacing balljoints and TRE are next on the list.
anyways, here is a pic of the 4runner (it now has a rear bumper)
