Hey everyone, super stoked on getting my first 4 runner soon. I found a really nice 2000 limited 4x4 with rear locker for under 8k. I'm currently trying to sell my low mileage 03 double cab TRD 2WD Tacoma to get it. The best part is I will have around 4k leftover to drop on mods! :D

I cannot wait. Crossing my fingers I will get a good offer on my Tacoma before the Runner gets snatched up.

Thanks man, love your build. First thing I'm doing after suspension is buying those sliders and front bumper you have from 4x, pretty good deal. the website told me it would only be 1047 for everything shipped! hopefully that's accurate haha

Tacoma finally sold!! looking at a really nice built 2001 in a few hours, let's hope if I like it, I can get a good deal.:cheers:

Dude, I am in the same boat. Good luck with your sale and subsequent 4R purchase..if i would have gotten a 4WD to start with I wouldn't be in this situation.

Exactly man! I wish I hadn't bought that prerunner..but at least I got what I paid for it minus the tax..which according to a friend I might be able to get a refund on since I only owned it for a few months. We'll see.

Looks nice.
I do see that the lower balljoints have been replaced. Find out what brand was used. If they aren't Toyota OE, I would still replace them, maybe even use this to reduce the price.

I'll definitely look into that! thanks for the tip. Don't want to end up like the guy on here who's ball joints on the drivers side wheel failed at 60 mph:nono:

Wow, looks like you're getting a really nice 3rd gen with some pretty great mods already done to it! I bet you're excited! Good luck with the purchase tomorrow, keep us up to date!
