Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is mike, i go to college at St. Lawrence in NY.

I drive a white 2006 4Runner SE V6. Its stock as of now but im looking to do some mods.

First on my list is rims, tires and possibly a lift, if i was to just do tires what are my best options for off-roading and what is the max size i can fit on the stock rims? any help is great. thanks guys.

Like the action shot:bigok:

Tire choices are almost infinate. The size would be 265/70/17 or 265/65/18 for most uses on a stock or levelled T4R.

haha i was looking into that, what would be the best bet for me? i just want like a 3 inch life that possibly levels it, what am i looking at cost wise?

i might go suspension lift now that i think about it, i want more flex and just a higher ride with more clearance for tires. I have a 2006 Sport Edition, how do i know if it has XREAS?

im thinking about the toytec spacers and rear bilstein shocks/coil overs? any ideas? im not looking to spend to much right not, just want ti lift in for a better clearance.

any ideas about front skid plates too?

You would know if you had the XREAS suspension if you looked at your suspension and you see a 'hard' line going into your shock on each corner of the rig.

If you have that, and want to keep it, I would recommend the spacers up front with a new coil in the rear.

If you want to gut the XREAS suspension, which is a good idea, you could go with like the fully adjustable coil over. That system will improve your ride quality for sure. and then go with the new bilsteins in the back.

What is your project budget?

Welcome to the board from a fellow NJ'er! I love that picture you posted. What part of NJ are you from?
