New Member from SF

Hey! I'm in Oakland. I also hunt and fish. Welcome to the forum.

That's awesome. It's tough being here in sf as a hunter/fisherman. Haha. Well fishing is a bit easier, but hunting spots are always a trek. I see in your sig, that you have a 2006 as well. I'd like to see some photos if you have them, sounds like you've done some cool stuff to it. Mine is still mostly stock.

New member here too, coming over from a decade at YT :biggrin1:

I'm also in the SF Bay area.

Awesome! Nice to meet you. My 4runner is still fairly stock...once I get it built up a bit, let's go get muddy.

Do you hunt or fish'?

I'm stock at the moment too but would love to go wheeling at some point. Getting some new tires this weekend (I hope).

Careful if you lift, some of the parking garages are super low in the Bay Area.

I think I'm 6'9"-6'10" with the rack and I pucker at the 7' clearance.

I KNOW those bastards in Chinatown don't accurately measure their garages, so if you hit a bump you may be kissing the ceiling.

There are some really cool trucks in SF that I keep seeing when I go out there, will have to keep an eye out for yours.

Tires acquired! Just some 265/70R16 Toyo All Terrains on 16" wheels.

No lift for me. Maybe limited slip diffs sometime down the road.

That's the truth...I almost scrapped on a "7 foot" garage, with my stock 4runner, yesteday.

Welcome from a former Cupertino resident

Welcome to the forum. I just joined today. I lived my whole life in the south bay until moving to Southern Utah in 2007. Lots of roads to explore.

4Runner in the City?

So Chiro22, do you live in the City itself? Do you have a dedicated parking spot for your 4Runner? I was there in Nov & saw lots of leetle teeny cars like Minis & Fiats. My rental was a Hundai sedan, but I'd hate to have to find parking for anything larger.
