Hello all, Nick here and I am a new 4 Runner addict. I purchased my first 4Runner on the 21st of March. I am in the Navy and had been out of the United States for 7 years (all of which by choice) and recently relocated to the San Antonio area. I have been reading the forum here off and on for the few months I have been back and I have to say that collectively you all are an extremely informative bunch. I haven't made many major mods to my T4R yet but I am confident that with the knowledge and support of everyone here I should be off and running in no time. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who posts here. Whether you know it or not you have helped me a great deal.

I called my salesman, and he didn't realize the CD player on the 06 Nav unit was a changer. It sure was a pleasant suprise to find out the unit will play 4-CDs. I may not have to buy an MP3 player after all!

The rep not knowing, I'm not surprised. It's not mentioned in the brochure either and I think member Matoolie was the first (I read about the 4-disc changer in his thread) with an '06 and navi. I'm sure you already know too, '06 models, the CD player will play MP3 discs, so you won't need a MP3 player... 2.8GB of music.

However, the changer is loud and it makes sounds like it's going to break.
