new member lift question

Hey guys,

finally decided to lift my 98...

I put some LC springs with skyjacker shocks on the rear with brake line extension looks awesome! On the front i bought some bilstien 5100s and obviously they don't have as much lift as the LC coils, I was wondering what everyone recommended I use to level it out. I wasn't sure if I should buy spacers or compensate with a body lift?

Well a body lift lifts the whole body, so that won't help. You could raise the perch on the 5100s. Or get a top plate spacer. You will probably have rake no matter what with the LC coils though.

I was getting ready to buy some top plate spacers from toytec, just wanted to make sure that was the best option, I'm new to the lifted truck scene. I saw that someone had put a 2" body lift in the front only, didn't know if that wazs a good idea or not.

What perch are your 5100s on? They are adjustable, so they essentially do the job of a top plate spacer. If they are on the 2nd perch you could move them to the 3rd.

I don't think a body lift on the front only sounds like a good idea...
