Hi there, I'm from Saskatchewan, Canada and I just bought my first 4runner on Friday 
I have a new 2013 black sr5 with the upgrade package. I work in industrial construction, and often travel and work in harsh winters. I knew after this winter that I needed a 4x4 (the snow was so bad I was getting stuck every day in march, and my vehicle sustained some substantial damage between the potholes and winter conditions out here).
I was pretty much set on a new silverado after test driving one, but decided to look at the 4runner as I had always liked the look of the old ones. I initially wasn't sold on the looks of the new t4r after test driving 2 of them, and was extremely conflicted. However, I did some serious research online and read all the things people had to say. After that, and hearing several gm horror stories from guys I work with who own Chevys, I phoned the dealership that afternoon and ordered my t4r. I still had some lingering doubts after so many guys pressured me to buy a domestic truck, but as soon as I sawy shiny new t4r I was in love! This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. The looks and materials scream class and quality, yet they are as rugged as a tank! I drove a couple friends around last night (one of whom owns a cayenne turbo), and they both couldn't stop saying how nice it was I look forward to many years with this truck, and I hope toyota never stops making it. I'm so glad I didn't buy a Chevy lol!
