NEW OME Lift Kit for 4Runner W/ BP-51

Ok. So first impressions on the BP-51. It's incredible. It feels like my raptor set to mid-perch. The front end doesn't dive on braking. It's super stable at highway speeds. While it is more firm than the stock setup, I would do it all over again. Need to get it on some dirt/rocks soon.

So I had posted this up on SEcret squirrel thread....

I'm curious what others get out of this lift in terms of over all clearance.... I'm scratching my head here because SS stated he only has 1" over my "Amazon special Daystar".... So I'm just not understanding what is really gained here?

Please don't jump on me about coilover's, valving, bypass and spring rate.... Many years ago I was in the desert scene so I understand all that.

Just can't figure out how you only gain 1" in the front over my rig on stock sized Duratrac's with Daystar spacers? I'd think you'd get more then 1" just from the tires SS is running...

Do the other lifts offer more "Lift"? Hence the ability to run larger tires, hence the ability to gain more clearance under the diff?

What I meant is that I bought the truck with a crap spacer up front, which gave close to 2" of lift measured from hub to fender. The BPs gave me the 3rd inch I was looking for (phrasing).
I've gained: Better ride/travel/clearance

Bim helped me to look at this differently, limiting favtors behind length of A arms ect...

Need to switch off my solid axel side of my brain and grown the IFS side

Who is selling the bp-51's for the 4runner?

I don't see any information that they have been officially released for the 4runner. I have a 2016 Trail with KDSS ad 'm biting at he bit to get a set.
I emailed ARB yesterday and have not herd back just yet. Any ideas?

They don't have a set specifically for the 4R yet, although a few of us on here already went down that path. The ARB guys at Jambo were happily surprised to hear we did, actually

Give a call to Main Line Overland and tell them your plans for your 4R & they'll recommend a config...

Well, thanks to you guys and [MENTION=123744]bsprelude[/MENTION] I've ordered these bad boys. Probably have them next week, and then a shakedown run the week after. Very excite.

Also called ARB before I ordered to see if a 4Runner specific kit was coming out, the notorious ARB - "Next Month" was said. They brought one of the engineers over from Australia to drive around and test on the 4Runner and he stated the valving felt like it could use work. I'm impatient and had already made my mind - a month is too far!

Just to be clear..... "next month" clearly translates to "next year".... as they still don't have them specifically for the 4R yet.
