Grand opening Sept 17. You'll need a MI ORV and ORV Trail sticker, plus a $15 entry fee (per vehicle).

Definitely closer to my neck of the woods than most trails I've been able to find information about.

That's great! I used to ride off road motorcycles up in the Kalkaska area and Michigan truly is an off road paradise here in the Midwest. The trails are well marked and you can ride for hours on loops without backtracking. The soil is mostly sand so rain doesn't turn things into a big mud bog.
Riding up there was the most fun I ever had!

Just visited Holly Oaks... had a great time. Definitely recommend checking it out.
The Endurance trail is pretty cool... feels pretty challenging the first time through especially when you get to the top of a hill and you can't see over your hood for what's on the other side or which way to turn. Helps if someone is ahead of you to see what they do. Second time around much easier!
Got some waves from other 4Runner owners - a notable Voodoo Blue one and a nice Army Green Pro (that took on the huge hill climb without issue).
Now if we could just do something about that Bronco sign!
