New owner and brand new to the 4Runner life

Hey guys. Picked up my 2016 Trail Premium with kdss about two weeks ago. Loving it so far! I have never owned a 4Runner before but have always liked when i seen them modified on the road. I traded in my F150 and also my scion frs just to be able to afford this thing. (i still have a 240sx for when i start missing the car life) Really hoping to meet some owners in the seattle area to meet up whether it be to grab some beers or do some trail driving or camping, or really anything! If there is a Facebook group for seattle area owners can someone point me in that direction please.

I have a 2012 trail w KDSS and it's awesome off road. It's been thru some of the worst conditions. Had to drive 48 miles thru blizzard. It has never gotten stuck even with dealer tires. Very solid ride.

Did you find it as hard as I did when picking out the model and package level you wanted? My local dealer who is usually on the money with info and literature can't even get me a brochure on the 4Rs and the web site is a PITA to navigate through. After 5 different trips to the lot I finally decided on the Limited as the one for us and my 2011 Tacoma sealed the deal with an excellent trade in number IMO.

I tried the Build your own section but got pretty disgusted with "You can't get this unless you already have that BS". When you get to the Limited level you pretty much have to take all that is in that package and add from there. Some of us older guys will remember when we could go to a dealer with cash in hand and order any option we wanted and have it built to our specs.

I did a ton of research online before going to the dealer and knew i wanted a trail or a trd pro. Ended up with a trail because they had it in the exact color and configuration that i wanted. Props to the person who had it built to his/her specifications. Dealer sold it to me on accident. It was the exact build vehicle i wanted though so thanks.
 
Figured I'd offer up a post and just say I like what you did with your FRS and F150 - tasteful, can't wait to see what you do to the T4R!
 
Nice ride! I will be picking up the exact same trim w/kdss and color this weekend lol. I test drove the sr5 and the limited. I will be test driving the trail before I buy it but I am sure I will love it. I did not like the way the limited felt but did like the sr5. How are you liking the ride?
