new plug wires causing misfire?

I needed plug wires asap so I just bought duralast ones and put them on and bought the ngk's off amazon (coming tomorrow). My question is can non OEM wires cause misfiring when they are brand new?? Can they be that crappy?

I think he meant the spacing and proper placement on the holders.

You can conduct electricity through the wires and cause issues when the wires aren't placed properly.
