Could it be that for the very first time since I've been on T4R I'm the first to bring a new product to the table?!

Road Shower - The Rack Mounted Solar Shower - New Model

I have a Zodi Xtreme that got me through 4 months of daily winter use post hurricane Sandy that served me well, but as soon as I saw this I knew I'd have to get one ASAP...

Anyone using one of these? I for one would use the hell out of this thing just cleaning the sand and salt etc off of my waders (I'm a surfcaster), tackle and gear several times per week, not counting the occasional camping trip or using it to wash away any bird droppings on my truck etc...

Anyone else be interested on seeing if they'd let us do one of our group-buys?

Does the new model come with the, ah, new model?



You could make one of these really easy with a chunk of irrigation pipe and an air fitting. It's been on my list for a while.
 
This is very common down here for beach fishermen you can build one out of PVC pipe and add a faucet end to it and a hose. Just paint it black and you are good to go! I have one for my Taco's bed rack, you can use U-bolts or hose clamps to hold it on the rack. Any way Home depot is your friend for this one.

It would also be easy to use a paintball tank and regulator to pressurize it instead of using a bike pump or air compressor. Paintball tanks and regs are cheap and easy to fill.

We have used this quite a bit since we got it. It works so much better than the ones I've made over the years. I bought it through the funding process at Kickstarter.
A piece of astroturf on the ground and we are set.

NEMO Helio Pressure Shower | NEMO

I have one of these and love it! It packs so small too. We just spent 6 weeks dispersed camping and living out of our 4runner and roof top tent. The Nemo shower was the best piece of equipment we had. Showers, dish washing, dog washing...

Thanks for the reply :) Was curious if it had one already or not. I like the idea of it really, would be great to have access to small pressurized water supply.
